On the product front, we want to be a brand that's quintessentially Indian. We intend to diversify into accessories and other categories within a year and explore the overseas markets. A message you would like to give all the womenfolk who want to break into sustainable fashion space. I'm not sure of the advice, but I can share my learnings. There are many aspects to sustainable fashion. Pick the one closest to your heart. Focus on one thing and do it right. Build thoughtfulness in your team right from Day 1. I believe reading helped me a lot – read industry journals, see what other sustainable brands are doing, and don't be hesitant to talk to various people in different stages of the supply chain to understand ground realities. And have patience. Perseverance is the key.
At present, IT companies are the main recruiters of ethical hackers. The much sought-after companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, IBM etc. are seeking good ethical hackers. However, an ethical hacking career is not limited to IT companies. Retail chains, airlines, BFSI industries, hospitality chains, and several other industries also recruit cyber security experts. A qualified ethical hacker can also start their own business to provide ethical hacking training and services. Ethical Hacking Career in the Government Government agencies such as law enforcement agencies, military, defense organizations, forensic science laboratories, detective companies, investigative services offer stimulating roles for ethical hackers. Some highly-skilled hackers also work with investigation agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the National Security Agency (NSA), National Investigative Agency (NIA) and the Federal Bureau of Information (FBI).
Even if you've interviewed a lot, it can still be challenging to stay calm and collected. You're meeting new people in a new environment, and you're trying to sell your credentials to someone who might be your next boss. A big part of handling stress is preparation. Be sure to research the company in advance and practice answering common interview questions. The more you practice, the more comfortable you'll feel in the interview. You can also reduce stress by avoiding negative thinking ("I won't get this job"). Instead, visualize having a successful interview (for example, envision having positive interactions with the interviewer). Do this visualization in the hours right before the interview. Use these relaxation techniques. If you start to feel stressed just before the interview, try taking a deep breath or two to relax. During the interview, feel free to take a breath or a sip of water before answering a question. This will give you some time to compose yourself and prepare your answer.

They usually stereotype women-owned fashion start-ups as small boutique store owners and don't take you seriously. What helped me was talking to them about the business using industry jargon like GST, credit period, cash discount etc. And finally, most importantly, having a good family support system goes a long way. How did the journey begin? I have always had an inherent interest in fashion. However, this journey is rooted in my personal experience of not being able to find work-appropriate clothing to fit my tall torso. My previous job in data analytics had me traveling frequently across the world for client meetings. And for all these meetings I could never find anything from the existing brands that could fit my 5'8 frame. This gave me the idea to launch an apparel brand for women, specifically tailored to suit all Indian body types. You have created a sustainable label. Tell us something about it It is a lifestyle label pushing towards sustainability. It is quintessentially Indian, with a contemporary touch.
It's International Women's Day, and the world is celebrating women from all walks of life. Women have led through crisis, in political arenas to the sports field, from physics to fashion. And, what they have left behind, is a path for other women to tread on. We met one such young achiever, Vidhi Singhal, a fashion entrepreneur, who shared with us her journey towards success and more. Here are some excerpts from the interview. What takes a woman in India to become a fashion entrepreneur? As the founder of a young startup, I do not consider myself worthy enough to offer advice, however will share from my experience. I don't believe that gender should be a hurdle. On the fashion side, one needs to have an aesthetic sense, an understanding of design, an eye for detail and a keen interest in fashion. On the business side, I believe that we women, in particular, need to be thick-skinned. The fashion industry has a long supply chain, where you deal with a lot of vendors most of whom are men.
We use fabrics like linen, organic cotton, recycled wool, and bamboo for our apparel. We aim to be a zero-waste label where 70% of fabric waste is recycled into use for add-on lifestyle products. The products are dispatched in custom-made recycled paper bags rather than plastic courier bags. We believe in inclusive growth, and building a strong community of women is core to our hearts. It's a woman-owned and women-run enterprise with 100% women tailors and 90% women staff. We all work out of the same sunlit, well-ventilated office. A lot of our collections are based on the beautiful crafts of India like ikats and block-prints. It gives us immense joy to be able to help these craft communities. What are the future plans? We are just getting started, but our long-term vision is more about women empowerment and inclusive growth. We want to create a community where women support one another. We want our women workforce to have the financial independence to send their children to school and invest in their future, thereby contributing towards India's progress.
